Merry Christmas!
I just wanted to jump on here today and wish you all a very, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
I can’t even believe the year is over already. So much has happened this year and it seems like the whole year has been on an accelerated pace!!
Maybe you have felt it too??
Anyways, Let me see if I can recap this year a little.
Recap of the Year:
In January, we dealt with the death of my Mother, and had a memorial service for her. I wish I could have had some say in that. I also wished my siblings and I could have worked together on it. However, it was not to be. Some were not allowing input into the service and so it was what it was. That has caused me a lot of regret for this year. This has been a year of working through the pain of that. I am so thankful for my kids who were my rocks through that whole thing!
Also in January, we went on a vacation to Orlando with some of the family, that was so needed!! During that same week, I left early to attend a certification event in Las Vegas. I received my certification in Belief Code that weekend, and I am so GLAD I DID!! What a powerful tool that has been!
After that, this year brought a new baby. Our 5th son and his wife had a beautiful baby boy in April. He is the sweetest and most perfect baby!! (Yea- us Grandmas always say that, don’t we??!!!)
Our youngest daughter graduated High School and is making her way in the world. That means I am officially done Parenting the under 18’s. Now on to parenting adult children. A totally different form of parenting, as many of you are aware. Anybody else dealing with what I like to call the “Terrible 20’s”??
Overall, the family is doing very well. 2 kids moved into new homes this year and are settling in to them nicely. 2 of the grandchildren began school this year and are loving it! 2 are in college, as I said above and 2 started new jobs this year.
And all were together in October as we gathered to memorialize in our own special way, my parents’ passing. It was a beautiful afternoon of stories and love topped off by the most beautiful rainbow we have ever seen here. It was a complete rainbow in the most vivid colors!! Something my sister in law and I felt was sent to us. It made the day so special.
We made the difficult decision this year to move our camper off the family site near Wisconsin Dells. There had been a camper under the Reinke name for almost 50 years!!! But, time with grands has taken priority and we just don’t have the time for that much camping. We have some ideas for next year. A camping partnership with at least 1 son is a possibility. Hopefully, that will work out better.
Business Update:
My business, Abundant Living with Vicki, has grown quite a bit this year which has been exciting! I have spent time with lots of new clients. Even having two from far away countries like North Korea and Kenya!
My books have kind of taken a back seat this year. I have some things in mind for them and some plans in the works. A new book will come out early in the new year. It will hopefully provide some momentum for my other books as well. The new book is a funny story about who you are. It stars my mule Millie, now deceased, and my 7 goats. Click here to order.
This year I have added Juice Plus and AO Scan to my Abundant Living with Vicki business offerings. I am excited to do more with each of these in 2025.
I pray you have had a good and prosperous year as well!
Merry Christmas to you and your family!!
Blessings and Much Love,
Victoria
